DAN GREER
Senior Pastor
My name is Dan Greer and I am the founding pastor of Community Baptist Church and have served in other capacities throughout my ministry as youth pastor, senior pastor, college pastor and children’s church director. My wife’s name is Gayla and we have three grown children, Tim, Wendy and Heather plus seven grandchildren. Both Gayla and I are graduates of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. I also have my doctorate from Grace School of Theology here in Texas.
CLINT DIXON
Administrative Pastor
My name is Clint Dixon and I am the Administrative Pastor here at Community. I also oversee our AWANA program on Sunday nights and I’m currently in charge of our Audio/Visual team. I have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A & M and I received my MABS at Grace School of Theology in 2019. I’m currently working on my MBA/MSL from Grand Canyon University. I am married to my beautiful wife, Candace. We have three beautiful daughters, Lyla, Teagan & Adeline.
RICH BUSTRAAN
Discipleship/Prayer Pastor
My name is Rich and I’m an Associate Pastor here at Community. I currently oversee our prayer ministry and teach our adult Sunday school class. I graduated from the University of Florida, Boca Raton, in 1989, where I received my Masters of Divinity from Columbia International University in South Carolina in 1993, followed by my PhD from the University of Birmingham, England in 2011. I am married to my beautiful wife, Arthy, and we have three children.
DAVID BETZ
Director of Music & Production
My name is David Betz. I am the Director of Music and Production here at Community with the privilege of leading worship as well. I graduated from Arlington Baptist University with a Bachelor of Music degree. God has blessed me with my beautiful wife, Leslie, and we have six grown sons and eight grandchildren.
KIMBERLY HENDRICKS
Educational Director
My name is Kimberly Hendricks and I am a native Houstonian who has lived in The Woodlands area for 17 years. With a passion for writing Bible-based curriculum and teaching children, I have worked in my calling and ministry for almost 20 years. My mission is to bring the Word of God to every child. I have a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Grace School of Theology, where I’m also working on my Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. God has blessed me with 3 beautiful children. I look forward to getting to know your children!
TAMMY LUCAS
Children’s Ministry Director
My name is Tammy Lucas and I am the Children’s Director here at Community. I have been a Sunday school teacher and then a children’s director during the past 30 years. I grew up with parents that were Junior High leaders in our church so I’ve always known I wanted to teach kids what it means to be a child of God. I have a degree in Deaf Education and I teach deaf/hard of hearing children in Conroe ISD. I have three amazing children, Brittani, Lucas and Bryce.
GAYLA GREER
Nursery & Preschool Coordinator
My name is Gayla Greer. As an early childhood teacher and Pastor’s wife, I have had the privilege of making a difference in many young lives. I’m the Coordinator of our Sunday morning Nursery and Preschool program here at Community. I’m a graduate of Baptist Bible College, where I met my husband. We have 3 children and 7 amazing grandchildren.
STEPHANIE SHEPHEARD
Administrative Assistant
My name is Stephanie Shepheard. I am the administrative assistant here at Community. I serve as financial secretary, as well as oversee our database, social and multi-media, weekly bulletins and outreach. I am married to Stan Shepheard, a deacon here at Community, and we have 3 amazing adult children, Morgan, Mackenzie and Cameron.
