On February 8th, we will be launching a new and exciting seven-week Sunday school campaign called "Creation Station" during our 9:30 Sunday school and 10:30 children's worship hour. This campaign will take students through the first 11 chapters of Genesis that teach the foundational truths about creation, identity, purpose, and the sanctity of life. All students will get a free Creation Station Tee shirt and will perform on stage at the end of the seven-week campaign. We encourage you to partner with us as we get ready to launch Creation Station.

Our annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2026 @ 5:00 PM. Unity of vision, mission, and strategy are essential for the success in any organization. At our annual church meeting, we will celebrate victories, cast vision, plan strategies, and approve a budget for 2026. We ask all teachers, workers, volunteers, leaders, and those interested in serving to attend this meeting. There will be snacks at the meeting and childcare will be provided via our AWANA program.

Bring the entire family and join us for our annual Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 PM. Our children will take the stage in the telling of the Greatest Story Ever Told!

The theme for this year's adult/teen Christmas Banquet is "O Holy Night" featuring special Christmas music and worship by some very talented individuals at Community. We will be serving a delicious meal of bacon wrapped pork loin with raspberry chipotle sauce (or chicken alternative) with parmesan potatoes, salad, green beans and desert. Join our men for a Men’s Breakfast! Our guest speaker will be Steve Reinhold, our missionary to Mexico. As many of you know, Steve was on furlough for a year successfully battling cancer, but was hospitalized last month with some complications. During this time, Steve’s ministry has lost considerable financial support.  We will take up a love offering to help fund Steve’s ministry!    ALL MEN & BOYS ARE INVITED! Bring a mexican style breakfast dish.

On Sunday, August 31st, immediately following our morning worship services, we will be hosting the 80th birthday celebration of Dr. Dave Anderson. This will be a potluck fellowship and everyone is invited to sign up to bring a covered. We will also open the microphone for folks to tell a Dave story and wish him a happy 80th birthday. No gifts please, but cards are welcome!!

Our women are planning an evening of fellowship and a time to get better acquainted with one another over a meal. The church will provide the taco meat and tortillas and ladies are encouraged to bring the taco “fix'ns.” This fun-filled event is planned for Tuesday, August 26th, at 6:30 PM. A signup sheet is at the Women’s Ministry table in the church lobby.

The Gideons International currently distribute over 70 million Bibles each year in hotels, hospitals, schools and public places. To date, they have placed over 2.8 billion Bibles and New Testaments worldwide. In today’s service, the Gideons will do a short testimony and presentation. We hope you will generously give to their worthy cause. Check out their display in the lobby.

Ladies, get ready to shop ‘til you drop on Saturday, July 19th. A Women’s Ministry luncheon and shopping spree is being planned with lunch at the Market Street Grill in Tomball. Ladies will be loading up in a nice Transit Van at the church at around 9:30 AM, so they can fellowship as they travel together to Tomball. They will do some shopping, have lunch and return to the church in the afternoon. There is a sign-up sheet at the welcome center in the lobby for those already interested!

Each quarter, we come together to review the past three months and plan our strategies for the next quarter. On Sunday evening, July 6th at 5:00, we will be meeting in the chapel to plan out the fall. Childcare will be provided. All teachers, workers and leaders are highly encourage to attend and everyone is invited.
